Still frazzled from yesterday. So I did what I do when the going gets tough, a really time consuming manicure. The color isn't super accurate, I think it might be from the flash. I'll try to get daylight photos tomorrow.
Base color is Ruby Kisses- Teal Envy, the stripe closest to the cuticle is China Glaze- Techno Teal, and the stripe at the tip is Wet n Wild- Teal of Fortune.
This reminds me of certain patterns of men's ties I've seen. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI love ties, maybe it was subconscious. I would love to rock the tailored menswear look, but it just doesn't work on a short woman with a D cup.
ReplyDeleteThat would be so cute! But yeah, probably not doable with your chest. There are so many things I'd love to wear (like pretty dresses) but can't because of my very tall, very broad-shouldered, non-waisted, big-stomached, non-hipped, weird figure. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I'm wearing a costume when I wear dresses, like I'm a kid playing dress up. I get self conscious and really uncomfortable. I internet window shop for dresses all the time, but I just look longingly, knowing that I'd feel awful the whole time I had it on.
ReplyDeleteMy big stomach and lack of hips prevents me from rocking 1970s style high waited trousers with tucked in turtlenecks. Sometimes I have a desire to dress like Mary and Rhoda, but I know I can't.
I compare my figure to one of those twin pop popsicles, all my bulk is up top, pretty much wide and square, and then I've got two skinny stick legs.
